For this illustration, I wanted to incorporate my interest in the Japanese language into my design elements with the typography. I also wanted to push my skills in illustrating people. I feel like I have succeeded in both illustrating Kaori Sakamoto as well as using my knowledge of Japanese design to create this editorial illustration.
